First American Pale Ale

Having a beer night out with Rudi in Budapest had some of it's high points, and visiting the FIRST Craft Beer & BBQ bar was definitely one of them. Had a lot of cool drinks while there, so it was a no-brainer when I saw in the Tesco that there are ipa and apa beers for sale. While the ipa was fermented, I really hoped that this time I will have a better luck. And so it was. Pours a nice gold color, filtered, with an almost white head pretty big in size and long lasting. Aroma is malty, sweetish, citrus fruits like orange and strawberry. Flavor is hay, fruits, I can feel that a lot of hops was used. The aftertaste leaves a mostly bitter and very little sweet mark on your taste sensors. Generally a good beer, and I liked it, but it does not qualify at the same score like the ipa from the same brewery.
