Paljas Bruin

Found this nice looking bottle in a Belgian beer shop in Budapest, and I really liked it's design and name, right at the first sight. Initially I thought it to be a Czech beer, Paljas sounds like a Czech word to me, but it's a Belgian brown ale, with all the style characteristics it needs. Pours like a perfect dark beer, completely black with nice frothy beige head. Aroma is malty, caramel, bread, while the flavor is 3 quarter sweet, one quarter bitter, with an average to long duration. Not too carbonated, felt a little plain on that side.
